Fuse with LED indicators

You can simulate the fuse blowing and resetting using the switch on top. Switch might be replaced with blow or PTC fuse, whatever suits you.

Yeap, ok for low suplly voltages upto 20V, but for voltages above 20V the mosfet is in danger to be damaged, cuz of to high Ugs in case of blown fuse. Check the specification for absolut maximum voltages rating Ugs, its probably even only 10V absolut. With some more effort, you can extend this circuit to keep the mosfet safe. Keep it up.

Attention, the broken device is still connected. A zener can only be a part of a final solution. Might be helpful for you, if you simulate a broken low ohmic device beside the green LED, e.g. 1Ohm resistor plus switch.

And the zener this way now will burn about 300mW. But it does work 👍
